Personality: Riley is the quiet one, but will definitely speak up if needed to. She never gets into conflict, and will never choose sides between friends, she will however always be there for any person that needs it. Riley does her best to make people feel comfortable in any situation, and whenever something goes wrong you will always find her saying "We need to all cooperate to get this done." She isn't known for her violence, but if she gets angry, hungry, or if anyone messes with Cadelina, she won't hesitate to have people feel her wrath. She is sweet and lovable, if a bit reserved, and would never judge or talk down to another person, whether it would be werewolf to vampyre hunter.
History: The day Riley turned six was the day she found out what she really was. Her venator mother raised her secretly, away from any other people. She used to always tell Riley stories about how a Venator met a Vampyre, and they fell in love. Because their love was so strong, they decided to make it even stronger by creating a child. People would get angry if they found out they had a baby, so they had to keep it a secret. It was either that, or sleep for the rest of your life... Now, Riley understands fully what her mother meant by "sleep".
When 14, Riley was walking along the sidewalk with her mother, her father had left them and she didn't understand why. So young and oblivious, she didn't notice the three people following them from behind. Her mother would turn around to watch them a lot, and she had the most fearful expression on her face. Okay, Riley. She said to her. I will race you, but I will give you a head start. Run all the way to the forest, and don't stop until your gut tells you. Riley did what her mother said, and ran as fast as she could, but when she turned around to see if she was close by...her mother was on the ground...a puddle of bright scarlet red blood around her. Riley looked from her mom to the three Vampyres looking at her. Get her. The leader said and the other two began to run for Riley.
She picked up her pace again and ran as fast as she could through the forest, the Vampyres not close behind. Riley's gut kept telling her to climb up a tree, and make sure they didn't see her do it. She widened her eyes as she slammed into another girl and they both fell to the ground. Riley's face was already wet from all the tears, the pain of falling to the ground just caused it to get wetter. The girl looked at Riley for a split second, then got back up and began to run. Riley did the same, but climbed into the tallest tree she could find. She clung close to a branch, and watched as five Vampyres ran under the tree and in different directions. The girl she bumped into was also running from the vampyres. She thought while holding her hand over her mouth to keep from making any noise. Later on Riley would meet other Legacies, and would soon discover the powers she contained within her as well as why those men were chasing her.
RP Sample: Swinging back and forth on a swing is what Riley used to call entertainment, but now it was just something to do to waste time. It was around 11:30 p.m, and every single night she would go to the creek at exactly 12 to clear her mind and also practice. She was one of the few legacies that were in the world today, and even though she despised fighting...it was necessary when it came to vampyres. They were the only ones who knew how to kill a legacy, even though they were supposedly immortal. Because of this, Cadelina and Riley had to develp their powers to overcome the elder vampyres when the time came to confront them.
Riley's green hazel eyes shot down to her wrist to see that fifteen minutes had passed, which was her cue. Her long brown hair would have usually fallen from her shoulders down to the middle of her back when she stood up, but her hair was pulled back into a tight bun since she went to visit an important person in her life earlier that day. She didn't wear her normal clothing either, which was a pair of jeans, comforable shoes, and an admirable t-shirt, but instead a formal dress with a pair of matching black heel to go along with it, which made a 'clomp' sound whenever her heels would touch the earth.
A lot had crossed her mind as she was walking down the park pathway of the forest to the creek that was located inside. She thought about her mother and the vampyres that had attacked her while they were walking down the street. She thought about when she would meet that right guy...and exactly how hard it would be since she was a freak of nature. She also thought about Cadelina, and how she would do anything to keep her safe from a vampyre. Even if that meant sacrificing her own life...so be it.
The forest was dark, so dark it would be impossible for the human eye to adapt. Lucky to Riley she had the eyes of an owl, so it was easy enough for her to step over a rock or anything else without worry. The clomping of her heels were annoying mother nature, and Riley herself. So she did what any other girl would think was crazy and took them off, leaving them by a tree out in the open. She was immortal, and stepping on twigs and pebbles wouldn't hurt her at all. If it weren't for Adam and Eve, people wouldn't even need the damn things. "I blame Eve." She said to herself while finally reaching the creek.
She knelt down on her knees next to the small body of water and cupped up some with her hands to rinse her face off. It was very hot and humid out for some reason, and that was very unusual in the city of Abercrombie. Getting back up she used her hand to fan herself and let a short sigh of breath escape from her mouth just before she smelt something...someone. With Riley being a Legacy, her nose was sharp so she could smell anything within a wide range of length. She turned her head to the direction of the scent, wondering what was hidden beneath the tree's shadows.
